Incumbent supervisors maintain seats
IOWA CITY– Most of the people have spoken.
A whopping 86.11 percent of Johnson County’s registered voters cast ballots in the Nov. 3 General Election, according to updated information posted by the Johnson County Auditor’s Office Nov. 5.
A summary of the results reported 84,161 of the county’s 97,739 registered voters took part in the election.
Just over 72 percent of the votes were received as absentee ballots.
The auditor’s office handled 60,897 absentee ballots, while 23,264 people voted on election day, according to unofficial results.
