Reduce waste, get convenience with curbside composting program

NORTH LIBERTY– North Liberty’s curbside composting program can take almost anything you throw at it. Fruit? Easy. Meat? No problem. Greasy pizza boxes? You bet. Reduce the amount of trash sent to the landfill each week; it’s good for the pocketbook and the environment.
Participants need to provide a compost bin lined with a yard waste bag, available for $1.65 at a variety of stores in North Liberty. Bins may be placed curbside on collection day for pick up.
