TIPTON– The Liberty High varsity boys basketball squad is quickly learning how to travel and navigate an oddball schedule.
The team, in its first year, is not affiliated with any athletic conference (Liberty will officially join the Mississippi Valley Conference in the 2018-19 academic year). This means rather than playing a typical schedule against conference opponents, the Lightning play on atypical days against pretty much any team with an open date or looking for an extra game.
