11 kills for Clubb, 10 for Pollock against South Tama
TAMA– Clear Creek Amana’s (CCA) varsity volleyball team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 3-0 sweep of the South Tama Trojans Thursday, Sept. 3, at South Tama High School.
The Clippers pulled off a 25-20 first-set win, took the second set 25-18, and dominated the third 25-12.
Calia Clubb, a junior, led the Creek Girls with 11 kills while senior Hailey Pollock produced 10. Freshman Meg Berkland and Clubb made a dozen digs each. Grace Bedford, a senior, produced 16 assists while freshman Kenadi Wood made a dozen.
