A rough season got a little rougher Friday, Jan. 6, as the Clear Creek Amana (CCA) varsity boys fell, 60-47, to rival Williamsburg in the Raiders’ gym.
The ‘Burg leaped out to an 18-4 lead at the end of the first period and were up 31-15 at halftime. The Clippers put all hands on deck for a major damage control effort in the third, and put up 22 points to narrow the gap to five points (42-37) going into the final period. Cory Siders led the Clippers with 18 points, including a trio of 3-point baskets. Tate Thomsen added 10 points while Tyler Hallett put in eight.
