2017 pet tags now available

NORTH LIBERTY– It is now time to purchase your pet tags for 2017. Cats and dogs are required to wear tags that may be purchased at city hall for $2. Owners must provide verification of their pet being spayed/neutered to receive this rate. A nonspayed/nonneutered pet requires a fee of $25.
A tag provides identification in the event a pet is lost. The registration of an animal helps the city to ensure that all animals in the city are up to date with vaccines.
Dogs and cats must be kept on their owners’ property or on a leash at all times. Pets found “at large” will be impounded.
