Andrew Larson, 23, of Iowa City, a graduate student at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, died unexpectedly Aug. 23, 2012. The family held a private memorial service Aug. 25 in Iowa City.
Andrew had graduated in May 2011 from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree, having majored in integrative physiology. Local survivors include his parents, Dale and Kristine Larson of North Liberty.
In lieu of flowers, the family plans to establish a memorial fund to honor his memory. Donations may be sent to Lensing Funeral Home, 605 Kirkwood Ave., P.O. Box 167, Iowa City, IA 52244.
