Bill Riley Talent Search comes to Tiffin

Qualifying show on Saturday, March 3

TIFFIN– Clear Creek Amana (CCA) Fine Arts and Music Enhancers (FAME) will be hosting a Bill Riley State Fair Talent Search qualifying show on Saturday, March 3, at the CCA High School Performing Arts Center. There will be 15 available slots in each of the two divisions. Performers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots have been filled.
The show will be following the rules of the Bill Riley Iowa State Fair Talent Search. A few important rules: Sprouts are ages 2-12 and seniors 13-21. There can be no more than five performers in one act. A performer cannot participate in more than one act. Acts must be under three minutes in length. No rock bands are allowed. Foul language in vocal lyrics or dance music is forbidden. For complete rules see billrileytalentsearch.com/.

Prizes will be awarded for place winners in each division with the first place winner in each division advancing to the Iowa State Fair competition in August. Prize money provided by local sponsors Tiffin Family Care and the University of Iowa Community Credit Union. Bill Riley Talent Search sponsor, Hy-Vee, will provide over $17,000 in prize money at the state fair level.
The show will take place on Saturday, March 3, beginning with the Sprout Division at 4 p.m. and the Senior Division at approximately 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
