Blues & BBQ brings cold brews for all
NORTH LIBERTY– The North Liberty Blues & BBQ committee understands July is a great month to sit outside, eat delicious food and drink a cold beer. Blues & BBQ falls on July 12, and the festival will have brewed offerings to fit every taste: hop lovers, cider fanciers, beer snobs and those who just want a cold, refreshing pint.
Again this year, the event offers the best craft brewers from around the state in the Veridian Credit Union beverage garden: Confluence Brewing Company from Des Moines, Millstream Brewing Co. from Amana, Peace Tree Brewing Co. from Knoxville, Sutliff Cider Company from Lisbon, Toppling Goliath Brewing Company from Decorah and, new this year, Bent River Brewing Company from the Quad Cities.
The beverage garden is centrally located, all-ages, and a perfect spot to listen to music, see friends, and just have a good time. Cold drinks start pouring at noon on July 12 at Centennial Park, and will be served until 10 p.m.
