Caryl R. Procok, 95, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully to met her husband on May 18, 2012, at the Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Funeral services were held May 22 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Bob Dagit of Sharon United Methodist church officiated. Burial was at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Local survivors include Kori Smith-Wesner and Amy Goldsberry, both of Ely.
Caryl was born Sept. 21, 1917, in Walnut, Ill., the daughter of Maxwell and Ruth (Randall) Kurtz. Caryl was united in marriage to Robert Procok on Nov. 3, 1939, in Cedar Rapids. Caryl was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.
