CCA girls’ track third at Pacha Relays
TIFFIN: Clear Creek Amana (CCA) put three events into the win column Thursday, April 25, at their home Pacha Relays. Kate Hergert, Chloe Keith, Bailey Mooney and Corrine Schwarting ran the 4x400-Meter Relay to victory in 4:19.79, besting their seedtime of 4:24.88. Mia Smith, Celine Fender, Megan Lukas and Amy Brant took the win in the 800-Meter Sprint Medley Relay in 1:55.19, which was 0.09 seconds better than their seedtime. Also, Natalie Brimeyer, Ashley Prusha, Fender and Lukas won the 4x100-Meter Shuttle Hurdle Relay in 1:09.35.
The Clippers were second in team points with 99. Mount Vernon won the meet with 116, Williamsburg was a close third with 97 and Solon finished fourth with 94.
