City seeks applicants for the Telecommunication Commission
NORTH LIBERTY— There is currently one opening on the Telecommunications Commission to fill a partial term ending in June 2010. Meetings are typically held on the first Monday of the month. Not only can you have input on the redesign of the City Web site, but you will also promote local cable access and enhance public relations and communication efforts throughout the area.
You will work closely with the City's Telecommunications Director and other City employees, as well as help out with exciting NLTV events. You don't need any specialized technical background, just a willingness to learn. Don't miss this opportunity to have a voice, educate the public, and help implement progressive policy in our community.
If you would like to be a part of this exciting and innovative group, please submit an application to City Hall. You can download a Board or Commission Application (in .pdf format) by visiting http://www.northlibertyiowa.org/city/boardapp.pdf or go to City Hall to pick up an application.
You can also contact the Telecommunications Director, Cheryle Caplinger at 626-5726 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more details on this commission.
All interested North Liberty area residents age 18 and over are encouraged to apply.
