Dr. Allen N. Lang

Dr. Allen N. Lang, 88, formerly of Iowa City, a veterinarian, farmer, fisherman, and family man, passed on Sunday, May 17, 2009, in Solon. A memorial service celebrating Doc’s life will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 2 p.m. at the KC Family Center, 4776 American Legion Road SE, Iowa City, 52240. The Lang family invites friends to dress casually and come with fond remembrances of Doc. Light refreshments will be served.
Burial will be in Remsen, Iowa, at a later date. Memorial donations in Doc Lang’s name may be made to the Johnson County 4-H Endowment Fund and sent to Johnson County Extension Service, 4265 Oak Crest Hill Road SE, Iowa City, Iowa, 52246. Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service is handling arrangements.
