Elizabeth L. Clarke, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died July 6, 2011, at Living Center East following an extended illness. Funeral services were held July 8 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial was at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving locally is a son, Robert Freeman and wife, Barb of Swisher.
Elizabeth Louise Clarke was born March 4, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Ina (Fauchier) McCauley. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Clarke on Aug 18, 1943, in Cambridge, Ill. Donald preceded her in death in 1992. She was employed for over 27 years as a meat cutter in the loin department at Wilson’s Packing Co.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the memorial fund established in Elizabeth’s honor.
