Floating Through History program at Sugar Bottom July 2 spotlights Iowa’s waterways
IOWA CITY– The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Coralville Lake has received funding from Humanities Iowa, a private non-profit state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, to host a presentation called “Floating Through History” by Larry Stone at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, at the Sugar Bottom Campground Amphitheatre. A cultural resource for Iowans since 1971, Humanities Iowa offers many cultural and historical programs and grants to Iowa’s communities. This program is also funded in part by a grant from the Iowa Community Cultural Grant program administered by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.
