Historical committee seeks assistance with Civil War exhibit

NORTH LIBERTY– The North Liberty Area Historical Committee is in need of the community’s help in filling out a display commemorating the area’s Civil War soldiers.
Since the Ranshaw House is not ready for show, the Historical Committee has decided to put together a Civil War exhibit to display around North Liberty. April 2011 until April 2015 is the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, making this the perfect time to honor the area Civil War soldiers.
But the committee needs help in completing the list of Civil War veterans. So far, this list of soldiers from the area has been compiled:
