Holy Trinity in North Liberty to offer summer programs for kids
NORTH LIBERTY– Summer is right around the corner… which means Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has a week of fun planned for your child.
Holy Trinity is planning an action-packed week of summer fun for your children. Just when they’ll be screaming “I’m bored. There’s nothing to do,” we’ll give them a worthwhile, meaningful, and inspiring way to spend a week. Vacation Bible School and Day Camp are scheduled for July 14 through 19 and we’re hoping your kids will join us for another fun-filled week at Holy Trinity.
Water Works! Vacation Bible School
Where the kids ride the wave of God’s love. Kids will visit an imaginary water park and experience a wild week of faith including “Coconut Island” puppet assemblies; “splash-tacular” scripture memory songs; raging river games; and more.
This camp is for children ages three years old to those entering first grade.
Dates: Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. (Thursday program and rootbeer floats starting at 5 p.m.)
Cost: $15 per child for the week.
Ewalu day camp
This year’s theme is “Living to Celebrate.” This summer we will be learning about the different seasons of the church community. Daily themes include: Living in Advent, Living in Christmas, Living in Lent, Living in Easter, and Living in Pentecost. The Ewalu day camp staff will help your kids experience God’s Word through games, prayer and music. They’ll have fun with arts and crafts, field trips, Bible studies and meeting new friends while strengthening their Christian relationships.
For youth entering first grade through those entering sixth grade.
Monday, July 14, through Thursday, July 17, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (Thursday program and rootbeer floats starting at 5 p.m.) and Friday, July 18 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Cost: $60 per camper ($55 each additional camper in family) for the whole week.
