Judith Therese Mick, 69, of Palo, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Funeral Mass was held Nov. 18 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids by Father Jon Seda. Burial was at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Local survivors include a son, Patrick (Carrie) Mick of Ely.
Born March 14, 1942, in Waucoma, Judy was the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Flynn) Marron. She graduated from Waucoma High School and then Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. On Sept. 4, 1965, she was united in marriage to Charles “Bob” Mick in Waucoma. She was a nurse at Mercy Hospital, retiring in 2002.
