Winter book sale
Mark your calendar Friends of the Solon Library will hold their winter book sale on Saturday, Feb. 4. Many items have already been collected. In addition to the current count of over 3,000 books , there will be over 50 puzzles (all $1 or less), a few board games, 20-plus cake pans (priced 50¢-$1), and at least 100 stuffed animals (25-50¢). If you are cleaning out after Christmas, we still have room for your donated books, DVDs, CDs and gift items.
Babygarten coming soon
Watch for more information about the next Babygarten program. Babygarten will be resuming from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. No registration required. Children from newborn through 24 months, and their caregivers, may come to any or all sessions. The program includes approximately 20 to 25 minutes of rhymes and songs followed by 30 minutes of play time. This program is specifically designed for one-on-one involvement between parent and child but an extra sibling is welcome.
