North Liberty Cub Scouts hold spring recruiting
NORTH LIBERTY– The North Liberty Cub Scout Packs are holding their annual spring recruiting drives. This is a great time to join the country’s largest youth organization, the Boy Scouts of America. Scouting is fun, educational, and a program with a purpose. Since 1910, Scouting has emphasized the environment, fitness, citizenship, and character building. Scouting helps develop boys’ values of duty to God & Country, and helping others. Cub Scouts is for boys who have finished kindergarten through fourth grade. As a Cub Scout, kids have fun and at the same time develop important leadership skills and life-long values. Scouts participate in activities crafts, games, sports, camping, Pinewood Derby, and much more. Kids also take part in community service projects like Keep America Beautiful and Scouting For Food. Best of all, Cub Scouts is an activity that families do together. Instead of just watching from the sidelines, parents spend quality time together and create memories for a lifetime.
