Old Gold Diner January activities

• Thank you to Jay and Helen Proffitt for sponsoring the Dec. 14 meal. It is always a pleasure when they come. If you missed it this year, mark your calendar for Dec. 13, 2017, to come for their next sponsored meal.

• Bingo is every Tuesday and Thursday. Penny bingo begins at 11 a.m. and play following lunch is for prizes, with a black out for a free Old Gold Diner meal ticket as the prize.

Euchre and bridge are the choices as of now, however we are always open to suggestions for other games for those willing to join. The UMW (United Methodist Women) does not meet in January, so we will be able to play cards Jan. 4. Call for reservations.

• Recycled greeting cards are available for purchase. They are just 50¢ each. See all of our cards at the Solon United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. There is a display rack that makes it easy to view and select the cards. If we don’t have the type of card you want, let Duane or Anna know and we will try to find something to meet your need.
