Patrick Goodall

Patrick Goodall, 62, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services were held Nov. 5 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial followed at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Local survivors include daughter Jennifer Velky, son-in-law Tim Velky, and grandson, Clayton Velky, all of Solon.
Patrick was born July 26, 1950, in Maquoketa, son of Francis and Mildred Goodall. He received a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Pat retired from Cummins Filtration in Lake Mills after 37 years. He married Jane Lex on March 25, 1972, in Des Moines. Pat loved being a grandpa and was a Hawkeye fan.
A memorial fund has been established.
