Rev. Katie Lowe Lancaster installed as Pastor of Discipleship Ministries at Holy Trinity

NORTH LIBERTY– The congregation of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in North Liberty has announced the addition of Pastor Katie Lowe Lancaster to the staff. Pastor Lowe Lancaster will serve as Pastor of Discipleship Ministries, including Small Group Ministries support, Christian Education and Servant ministries within and beyond the community. She was formally installed to the new post on Sunday, Sept. 18.
“We are truly blessed and humbled to welcome someone with Pastor Katie’s skills to our ministry,” said Lead Pastor of Holy Trinity Rev. Tim Smith. “She brings a boundless and evident passion for Christ, and a wealth of experience both as a pastor and a layperson working with youth, mission experiences, and small groups. We anticipate that she will be an excellent match to help lead us in further deepening and extending our witness to Christ in North Liberty.”
Pastor Lowe Lancaster, a Marion native, is a veteran of 31 years of marriage, mother of six children, and graduate of St. Olaf College and Bethel Theological Seminary. Prior to ordination, Lancaster served as Director of Children’s Ministry at both St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and at Echo Hill Presbyterian Church, both in Marion. For the past five years, Lancaster served as both the Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Anamosa.
