Ronald Escher

Ronald M. Escher, 73, of Newhall, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012, with his loving family around him. Funeral Mass was held June 30 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Mark Reasonor.
Ronald was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Washington County, the son of Vern and Lucille (Beenblossom) Escher. Ronald was employed at Goss in Cedar Rapids for 35 plus years until its closing.
He served in the U. S. Army during peacetime and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
Local survivors include Vern E. Escher of Ely.
