Rose Ramsey

Rose I. Harms Ramsey died Friday, May 11, 2012, in Iowa City, with her children and grandchildren by her side. Funeral Mass was celebrated May 16 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father John Spiegel officiating.
Rose was born Oct. 18, 1945, to Fred C. and Bertha Cole Harms of Solon. She attended Regina High School and was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City.
Local survivors include Tom Kacena of Swisher.
In lieu of flowers, the Rose Ramsey Memorial Fund has been established.
