Summer travel & our veterans
Summer is almost here! Many of us will be traveling to many interesting and exciting places, taking in the sites and visiting friends and family! In your travels, please remember that the Solon Community School District will be having a personal hygiene products drive for veterans when school resumes in the fall. We will be collecting trial size soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and similar types of items for the VA Medical Center in Iowa City. Last year, the school collected over 1,000 items and we are hoping to collect even more for them this coming school year! Thanks in advance for remembering our veterans!
