SOLON– During “Smart Money Week,” the Solon Public Library will offer “Take Control of your Finances: 101” on Thursday, April 26, from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
The library will host representatives from local financial institutions and businesses to discuss basic finance in conjunction with “Smart Money Week.” Representatives from the local banks as well as financial advisors will be on hand to answer questions about how to check or improve your credit score, how much should you save for retirement, when is it best to refinance and how to set up a college fund for your grandchildren. Everyone is welcome. There is no registration or fee. Bring your questions and join us.
Library Director Kris Brown plans to expand the offerings for “Smart Money Week” by making it an annual event. Your input for topics, seminars and programming to be added to the 2013 venue may be directed to her.
