IOWA CITY– 4-H members in Johnson County will be flipping pancakes, grilling sausage and serving up breakfast on Sunday, July 9, from 7 a.m. until noon at the 11th Annual 4-H pancake breakfast at the Johnson County 4-H fairgrounds, building C. Tickets are available at the door and pre-school age youth are free. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the 4-H program in Johnson County, which serves over 4,000 youth. 4-H members plan to uses funds to cover their program development fees to keep 4-H a low cost program for everyone involved.
The silent auction will be held during the breakfast with items donated by county 4-H clubs. The 2012 Johnson County 4-H and FFA Fair is July 23 through 26.
