All campground programs are presented at the Sugar Bottom Campground Amphitheatre. Sugar Bottom Campground is located north of North Liberty on Mehaffey Bridge Road on the north side of the bridge.
All programs are free to the public and you do not have to be camping to attend a campground program. Feel free to bring your own blanket or lawn chair, but benches are provided.
In the event of inclement weather some programs may have to be cancelled. It is a good idea to call in advance to verify that the program is still scheduled. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the visitor center can be reached at 319-338-3543, ext. 6300, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
