Lance finished 5-3 in the tournament, placed eighth in the 220-pound division, and earned All-American status.
The annual Fargo Nationals is considered the premier high school wrestling event in the country, drawing the top freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers across the U.S. from every state to the FargoDome. Each weight class can consist of over 150 wrestlers vying for a top-eight finish, good enough for All-American status and every major college program sends a representative to Fargo to scout and evaluate the talent.
