The Spartans will compete at Marion on Thursday in the district meet to determine which events will qualify for next week’s state meet.
“I was very pleased with the way the kids competed,” head coach Mark Sovers said of the WaMaC meet and the upcoming district competition. “When you can go out and have some success in a conference like the WaMaC, then you know that there are some big opportunities ahead of you heading into districts and the state meet. That is what a championship season is all about, trusting the process and taking advantage of the opportunities that come your way.”
