SOLON– The Solon boys soccer team entered the postseason on a strong note, blasting Washington 7-0 Wednesday to advance in substate play.
The Spartans scored six times in the first half, including the first two goals by Tim Lance, which came within a minute of each other.
After that, Solon seemed to score at will and controlled the field of play, allowing Washington only three shots at the goal for the game.
