SOLON– The Spartans took on two powerhouses in one day and came out without a loss last week. The boys’ soccer squad defeated West Liberty 3-1 at West Liberty Saturday and then traveled to Davenport Assumption later that day for a scoreless tie. Open house for Jean and Bob Stinocher May 15

SOLON– The Solon Senior Advocates will host an open house for Jean and Bob Stinocher to honor them as Solon seniors of the year. The event will be held at the Solon American Legion on Wednesday, May 15, from 3 until 5 p.m. Refreshments will be provided by American Legion groups, American Legion Auxiliary, Beef Days Committee and Senior Advocates.
