NORTH LIBERTY– The Arlington Ridge neighborhood of North Liberty banded together Saturday, Aug. 11, for its third Porchfest, a day of music, food and games in a family-friendly environment. Twenty-seven solo and group acts performed on seven stages set up on porches scattered throughout the neighborhood along Whitman Avenue and Canterbury Street.
In addition, the event kicked off with a “New Orleans-style Second Line Parade” starting at the Penn Meadows Park parking lot and dancing its way down the walking path to the neighborhood. A variety of games and other attractions were also provided for the daylong event.
