CCA’s Sheely and Moore sign

TIFFIN– Two more Clear Creek Amana (CCA) Clippers signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to play college football. Dylan Sheely and Darius Moore signed letters in a brief ceremony Friday, Feb. 16, at Clear Creek Amana High School, in Tiffin.
Sheely, a 6-2, 185-pound senior, signed with the Luther College Norse, in Decorah. Sheely had one carry in 2017 for five yards and made two receptions for 33 yards and one touchdown (11 yards). Defensively Sheely made 20 solo tackles and had 11.5 tackle assists. He also made a pair of interceptions for 15 yards and had a pair of punt returns for 20 yards.
Moore, a 6-1, 175-pound senior, signed with the Iowa Western Community College Reivers, in Council Bluffs. Moore was 1-1 in passing for 28 yards and one touchdown, made two carries for six yards and had 47 pass receptions for 697 yards and four touchdowns. Moore’s longest reception, for a touchdown, was a 68-yard effort. Defensively, Moore recorded eight solo tackles and 1.5 tackle assists while snagging a pair of interceptions for 16 yards. Moore took 10 kick off returns 196 yards and two punt returns 48 yards with one a 33-yard touchdown.
The Clippers went 3-6 this past season.
