Elizabeth Hill

Elizabeth “Betty” Hill, 86, of the Meth-Wick Community, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Keene, N.H., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, in her home. Her body has been cremated without services.
Local survivors include a daughter, Susan (Marvin) Schmitt of Solon.
Betty was born in Lancaster, Mass., in 1925 and lived in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire for most of her life. She worked for many years at W.W. Cross in Jaffrey. She moved to Iowa in 2009 to be closer to her daughter and made her home at Meth-Wick Community until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Hill.
Memorial donations may be made to Meth-Wick Community in Cedar Rapids, or the Jaffrey-Rindge Memorial Ambulance Service in Jaffrey, N.H.
