ICCSD education foundation to sponsor breakfast on May 16

IOWA CITY– The Iowa City Community School District (ICCSD) Foundation will hold its “Education is Everybody’s Business Breakfast” on Wednesday, May 16, at the Clarion Highlander Hotel from 7-8:30 a.m.
This annual celebration will showcase the foundation’s excellence fund grant program that enriches student learning in the ICCSD and will highlight businesses and individuals who are leaders in their support of public education in our community. Loretta Angerer and A. W. Welt Ambrisco Insurance, Inc. will be honored as special “Friends of Education,” for their commitment to promoting high quality public education through continued support of the ICCSD Foundation. A selection of 2011 grant recipients will speak about the impact of the excellence fund grant on their programs.

Proceeds support the foundation’s excellence fund. The ICCSD Foundation generates and assists in generating financial resources to enhance the education of all students within the district.
