Linda Curtis

Linda Mary Curtis, 59, of Arlington, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Manchester Regional Medical Center. A celebration of Linda’s life was held Nov. 3 at her home, in Arlington.
Linda Mary Curtis was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Manchester, the daughter of Glenn and Verna (Hemsath) Curtis. Linda graduated from Starmont High School Class of 1971. She worked for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids and Manchester. She then attended Kirkwood Community College and graduated with a horticulture and floral design degree in 2004. She owned and operated her own floral shop called The Wildflower. Linda also worked for the Corner Market and Greenhouse in Oelwein for the last several years.
Local survivors include her brother, Richard (Barb) Curtis of Ely.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Curtis House in Oelwein.
