culminating in his ordination in 1974 and continued her supportive role in that ministry. Mayme and Don served as Band Parent presidents at Harlan Community High School. She was also an active volunteer and advocate for disabled children and young adults. With her children grown she became more active as a member of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary.
