Senior recital features award-winning musicians May 26

SOLON– On Thursday, May 26, at 7 p.m. in the Solon Middle School auditorium, Tiffani Fulton, Leia Lensing, Rachel Proffitt and Lauren Aguilar will present a joint senior recital. These four students collectively have many musical accomplishments including All-State Band and Choir, All-State Jazz Band, Iowa State University Honor Choir, Dorian Honor Choir, WaMaC/EIHC honor band, the honor of traveling to Europe with the Iowa Ambassadors of Music, and multiple Division I ratings from State Solo and Ensemble Contests. They also have been involved in musical groups in their school and community. Rachel and Leia are both attending University of Northern Iowa where they plan to study music education. Lauren and Tiffani will attend the University of Iowa where they will study pre-medicine and music education, respectively. All of these ladies look forward to participating in marching band on the collegiate level and furthering their musical career in the next chapter of their lives.
