SOLON– The Octagon Club of Solon will be holding a food drive starting Monday, Nov. 18, and concluding the following Monday, Nov. 25. Non-perishable items may be dropped off by community members in the main office at the high school. If you have students attending Solon High School, you may send the items with them to be left at one of several drop sites around the high school. The goal of the food drive is get 1,000 pounds of non-perishable foods that will be given to the Solon Food Pantry. The pantry is currently asking for canned chicken, pasta sauce, peanut butter, canned fruit, jelly or jam and ramen noodles.
